The plant - is called a honey grass. It came from America. At present it is actively used as a sakharozamenitel.

To taste, the plant is 25 times more sweet than usual sugar, but it contains very few calories.

In 2006 WHO recognized a grass safe for a human body and allowed it for use.

Leaves of a stevia are rich with nutrients.
